Terms of Service

To use MagicFridgeChef, you must create an account by providing a valid email address and password. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep your account details up to date.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you confirm that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for any activity conducted under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

You agree to use MagicFridgeChef only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, restrict, or inhibit anyone else's use of the service.

You may not: (a) scrape, copy, or redistribute generated recipes or other content at scale; (b) share or sell your account credentials; (c) attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or hack any part of the service; (d) use the service to transmit viruses, spam, or harmful code; or (e) interfere with the proper functioning of the service.

Violating these rules may result in suspension or termination of your account without notice.

MagicFridgeChef, including its name, logo, software, design, and content, is owned by MagicFridgeChef and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use our branding or content for commercial purposes without written permission.

Recipes and content generated by the AI are provided for your personal, non-commercial use. You may save, cook, and share them informally, but you may not resell them or present them as your own commercial product.

Any pantry items, preferences, or data you submit remain yours. By using the service, you grant MagicFridgeChef a limited license to process that data solely to generate your recipes and improve the service.

MagicFridgeChef offers a Free plan and a paid Chef Pro subscription. New subscribers receive a 14-day free trial of Chef Pro with full access to every feature at no cost and with no credit card required to start the trial.

After the 14-day trial ends, your account automatically downgrades to the Free plan with no charge. You will never be billed unless you actively choose to subscribe to Chef Pro.

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe, our PCI-compliant payment provider. MagicFridgeChef never sees or stores your full card details. You may cancel your subscription at any time via the Stripe customer portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Prices and features may change. We will provide reasonable notice of any price increase, and you may cancel before the change takes effect. Refunds, if any, are issued at our discretion in accordance with applicable law.

All recipes, instructions, nutritional estimates, and tips generated by MagicFridgeChef are produced by an artificial intelligence model and may contain errors or omissions.

MagicFridgeChef is not liable for any damages, allergic reactions, foodborne illness, or adverse outcomes resulting from the use of AI-generated content. You are responsible for verifying ingredients, cooking times, temperatures, and safety practices before preparing or consuming any meal.

Dietary filters (Low-FODMAP, Diabetic-Friendly, Renal, Keto, Heart-Healthy, and others) are helpful guidelines and do not constitute medical or nutritional advice. Consult a qualified healthcare professional for personalized guidance.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MagicFridgeChef shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

You may delete your account and associated data at any time from your profile settings or by contacting us.

MagicFridgeChef reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent or abusive behavior, or for any other reason we determine necessary to protect the service or other users.

Upon termination, your right to use the service ends immediately. Pro-rated refunds for prepaid subscription periods are not guaranteed and are issued at our discretion.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which MagicFridgeChef operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Any dispute arising from your use of the service shall first be attempted to be resolved informally. If unresolved, disputes shall be resolved through binding individual arbitration rather than in court, and you waive any right to participate in a class action.

You agree that any claim must be brought within one (1) year of the event giving rise to the claim.

MagicFridgeChef may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify users within the app or by email.

Your continued use of MagicFridgeChef after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree, you may stop using the service and delete your account.
