MagicFridgeChef collects the following information when you create and use your account: your email address (used to sign you in and identify your account), your household size, cooking goals, and dietary preferences (collected during onboarding to personalize recipes), the ingredients you enter or scan into your pantry, and the recipes you save.

The ingredients you enter and any fridge photos you upload are sent to an AI model that generates recipe suggestions for you. This data is processed solely to produce your recipes and is not used to train external AI models.

Your data is linked to your account and is never sold to third parties. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from Profile & Settings → Danger Zone → Delete Account, with no need to contact support.

When you use the Fridge Vision AI Camera feature, uploaded images are processed to identify ingredients and are not retained for any purpose beyond generating your recipe suggestions.

We do not use your fridge photos to train external models. Image data is handled securely and discarded after processing.

Subscription payments for Chef Pro are processed securely through Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment provider. MagicFridgeChef never sees, stores, or transmits your full card details.

All payment transactions are encrypted and handled entirely by Stripe. Billing information is managed via your Stripe customer portal.

All recipes, instructions, and tips generated by MagicFridgeChef are produced by an artificial intelligence model and may contain errors or omissions.

MagicFridgeChef is not liable for any damages, allergic reactions, or adverse outcomes resulting from the use of AI-generated content. Users are responsible for verifying ingredients, cooking times, and safety before consumption.

New users receive a 14-day free trial of Chef Pro with full access to every feature — including AI recipe generation, fridge scanning, and personal recipe management — at no cost and with no credit card required to start the trial.

After the 14-day trial ends, your account automatically downgrades to the Free plan with no charge. There is no cancellation required, and your card will never be billed unless you actively choose to subscribe.

MagicFridgeChef requests only the device permissions it needs to work, and nothing more:

• Camera — to scan your fridge and identify ingredients with Fridge Vision.

• Microphone — to listen to your spoken recipe searches (voice search).

• Vibration — to give light haptic feedback when you tap buttons.

• Internet — to load recipes, sync your pantry, and process AI requests.

• Storage (photo access) — only to attach a fridge photo when you choose to scan.

MagicFridgeChef uses your camera only to photograph the contents of your fridge, and does not access any other device data.
